good morning all, after numerous attempts to contact mat dix ,i have 3 phone numbers,he never answers or replys
to messages. he owes me about £1000 for planer hire.i think doobin is correct, rouge trader.

Can you not ring off a number he doesn’t associate with you and ask him to come and look at a blocked drain? At least you would get the chance to discuss the outstanding amount face to face. It’s normally easier to avoid being ignored face to face.
It is very frustrating when people owe you money as cash flow is king in a small business. If people are genuinely struggling to pay they would be better to tell you the truth and whilst not ideal at least you could work out a suitable payment agreement without the bad feeling.

Follow recorded delivery warning letters then small claims court.
If he's got ccjs already it may not bother him
