there are hundreds of old workings up that area ... was on a site once, bottom end of Merthyr, that had a hole open up the night before I was supposed to be sat on the very spot with a crane ..... would've swallowed the Demag whole .. apparently were tipping 20t loads into it, 10hrs a day, for weeks after ... IE built on top of it all now
