Just buy the real deal. A 7.5t lorry will do 200000 miles without blinking. A 2ltr van running at 7t day in day out whilst costing an absolute fortune to buy in the first place is surely a false economy. Plus second hand lorries are cheap.
And finally lorries up to about 12t have a better turning circle than the longest transit option.

I fail to see how that can be called a trailer, just because it's coupled by a fifth wheel pin - it doesn't appear to articulate at all
