like I said on a.n.other auction ... gonna make a killing - over and above the extortionate buyers premiums, etc. need to have a real bargain in any auction with these sorts of terms :mad::mad:

I'm pretty sure it contains a series of belville washers in opposed pairs that progressively increase the resistance to the two halves of the machine twisting. I distinctly remember the fitter when he was down with us from Ripon saying that Volvo have the tunnel bearing so that the back end can fall over independently and Hydrema have the spring unit to keep all the wheels on the ground without losing traction or falling over.
At one of the SED shows our full time Hydrema dumper driver got the chance to take their demonstrator onto the spoil pile ............ us lot who knew just how good the product was were a lot more relaxed watching his performance than Hydrema uk were 🤣

must be some serious Belvilles in that tube .... I'd assumed it had to be something to do with the lateral articulation, by its position, each end
used to have a 10ft x 1/8" Morgan truecut guillo which had Belville stacks each end for the return and hell did it ever jump back up from a full stroke cut .
My BIG Pearson 10ft x 1/2" had a nitrogen return system which was a lot more 'gentle' on the up stroke, even after a full 10ft cut ... the old N2 was a lot more flexible/forgiving of being compressed :)
