Spoke with local farmer who told me he towed a static caravan down a A road behind a tractor a good 10 miles back to his farm , Sunday morning job.. 😂

Me and a few of the lads did that one Friday night. Shunted out with a defender then hitched it on the back of a transit tipper and drove from ambergate up through crich. We had flashing lights and hi-vis it almost looked legit 👀🫣

One of my customers had one right at the top of ambergate woods, they hooked it up to a tractor and just went for it! Clients Didn’t dare take it back out so we just torched it!

I really really don't use mine. Lads aren't bothered about using they are happy to barrow daily.

This year its been out once and that was due to an extreme slope involved.
Just found this photo of when the lads got mine stuck. Think it was the week before Covid shut us down.

Round corner from me, think I may just have a go at the Lathe and benches if they don't make silly money. Handy to kit out the new workshop and local too. Thank you for the link. :)
Keeping my beady eye on some of that...can't get much handier location wise 🧐
Dont want lathe or benches tho 👍

nice selection of grabs there
The Niton gun at the very end of the list caught my eye. Those things are about £25k new.

I bet it goes for a steal. (Ok, I’ll get me coat 😀😀)

For those that don’t get the joke they.are used to identify different types of metal and their alloys.

Seven-league boots are an element in European folklore. The boots allow the person wearing them to take strides of seven leagues per step, resulting in great speed. The boots are often presented by a magical character to the protagonist to aid in the completion of a significant task.

I had to google it grandad 👴 😂
