The fuckers wanted £38k for a 26z when I was asking a year ago!
Alot of places I go z is worth the compromise. Current 8025 wafts 2ft6 bucket full buckets about comfortable enough.Only get a z if you need one... its actually short for zebedee

Only one aux. I emailed the same salesman as last year from another email account.Dunno but on JCB website they are offering the 26c for this. Think they come as standard with twin set of aux too which would certainly make it very competitive
I think anyone would be sick to find that out.I wasn’t wanting to buy either model.
Just amazed that they can suddenly chop 8k off last years asking price for any mug on Facebook.
I’d have been sick if I’d have bought one.
They drive pretty nice as a rule tbf..... id have one over a kubota in that regard.Only one aux. I emailed the same salesman as last year from another email account.
I haven’t yet worked out how to tell him he’s got zero chance of selling me a jcb in the future, at any price.

Then again, by the time you've added a 2nd set of aux and a hyd hitch it's going to be well very the £30k+vat mark so probably not that far off the like of what Yanmar are offering at the mo
Swings and roundabouts- not so good a time if you need to move one on to make way.Good time to buy a machine now if you have work for it.
I quite liked the concept of the semi zero swing that the bobcat and Komatsu use.. usually it’s only counterweight that sticks out rather than the whole engine bay like on the Kubota KX. Or they just have wider tracks…
Did the Yanmar have the additional counterweight on?Swings and roundabouts- not so good a time if you need to move one on to make way.
Yes the compact radius on my bobcat works very well for me, and it honestly seems as stable as the yanmar with the massive arse I tried.
Yanmar don’t do additional counterweight on that model as far as I know? It’s just the massive, old school arse end including the engine bay, like the Kubota KX30.Did the Yanmar have the additional counterweight on?
Zero do tend to have wider track base but think the Yanmar is quite too so would have thought It would have been pretty planted.

I liked how the yanmar drove, but I didn’t feel it would have the torque on a steel hull (could be wrong) and I couldn’t stand the lack of left offset or the school bench style seat and cramped cab. No need for it in such an otherwise bulky machine.
