I can stop if you like? .......:(:(:(
I thought you guys would find a very different cultural approach to an industry you know, rather interesting. .......... (y):love:(y)
he's only winding you up .... don't you dare ... keep it coming, even if the price of hoses out there is 🤮🤮 compared to ours :ROFLMAO:
those 45,s 're a tad iffy, but at that price (and all the others you've been putting up), I'd be taking the chance .... should be OK once clinched, I'd have thought (y)

I'm not sure, when you crimp the ferule on it compresses the insert a little, if the wall thickness of the insert is not uniform i can only assume it will compress more on the thin wall side and not at all on the heavy side. It depends on how much you rely on the fitting to hold fast. If it's not a critical part then crack on.

With the hoses, my thinking is many of those on the machine are original (25 years now), so a new "iffy" hose is probably better than that!

good point. The wall at it's thinnest is 1.2mm, so I'm confident that won't be a problem. I'm thinking it may be indicative of the general quality :cautious:
I haven't had one fail yet, but two of the old ones have - I figure the odds are with me on this one.

This Hitachi is used almost daily - you can't say they are not getting their monies worth

You know that feeling when you reach out to grab a piece of steel you put down not long ago - then you decide it's not that urgent.

Finally identified this snake.
It's not some common 'ground dwelling' snake.
It's not some ordinary 'tree' snake.
If you want to impress people, you need the 'Ornate Flying Snake'.
(never seen one fly, but it sounds very cool)

Not my footage, but I've been past / shopped at many places in the first half. The places with the lathes, presses etc I am yet to find.

Gas bottles continue to amuse

If you look carfully, you'll notice it's only one-wheel-drive. I wasn't quick enough to duck under to see how it was done (chain misaligned by 20deg probably!)
