Hi All,
recently picked up my first (well used) 3CX and I've been looking for a forum to help me with the learning curve. I signed up with a couple of other forums, but found 'the lights are on, but no one home'.
A regular here took pity on me and suggested this as the 'the place to be'.

The machine is 'down under', but I'm currently spending most of my time in SAE (perpetual summer has it's attractions).
The tool makets here are something to behold - I picked up some 'Clip-On' ring spanners (logo looks like Snap-On) apparently made in a chinese town called 'germany'.

Hi Gecko and welcome to the forum.
To hold our attention you will need to post photos of your machine(s) :ROFLMAO:
Great place to ask for help and advice or simply show us what you have been up to

Sure - I'm not sure I have 'pic privileges' yet, but here goes.
She's a 1997 build with a Perkins non-turbo engine, 4x4, 4in1, extrahoe and Shuttleshift box

Think you'll find it's a very productive machine. Those 4in1 are so useful for moving the dirt :)
However, give me a 360 machine any day :p
Love yer native backdrop with the obligatory eucalyptus trees :ROFLMAO:

Hehe! Sometimes it's hard to take a pic without a eucalypt in the background (at least there isn't a koala sitting in that one!).
.... no forks
Yeah, that's pity - forks would have topped it off.

What isn't obvious in that pic is that all the engine covers are missing - maybe I could paint flames down the side and pretend it's a hotrod

Rare to get an old one that hasn't lost the side covers. .... to the front wheels, when they've been put down and forgotten about :(

Ah - sorry. SEA = South East Asia
Generally taken to be everything between china down to australia, india across to japan.

What you have to realise about SEA - there's nothing can't be carried on a motorbike

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should

The farm is on the victoria/new south wales border, but I've spent a lot of time in melbourne too.

Here is another wide load (the bike is doing traffic speed)

Now have a think about the blue traffic sign!
