If you want an 016 then unless you want a digger getting on 10 yr old 219 is the closest you'll get. Not anywhere near that e17 price though.

E19 is variable pumps, which is a must these days. Must manufacturers have a ‘hire special’ 1.5t but for owner op it has to be variable pumps rather than gear pumps imho.I've had a price on a new Bobcat E17, stock due in before year end.
£15.2k plus vat with the 0% finance.
That works out a few grand cheaper than either the TB216 or KX016
Anybody on here use one?
Had a price on the E19 too and specs look very similar, different arm geometry and hydraulic pump but same engine, tracks etc.
So would appreciate opinions on either.
Yeah agreed prices of second hand are sky high at the minute, which was great for selling the Hanix. Doubled my money on it in a year.
Cheers,
Ash
What’s so good about variable over gear pumps?Used Sunward prices are notable lower on Mascus etc

E19 basic canopy was I think £16750
they’d better have stock in soon, my special order e19 should be on the boat!
Better flow sharing, smoother operations, not having to rev the nuts off it to move fast enough on all functions so can perform repetitive work like grab sorting on lower revs. Fuel savings. More pressure, flow and power. What’s so good about variable over gear pumps?
It's not the full picture mind. Whilst I'm not knocking what doob says about variable pumps there's a lot more to a good hydraulic system than just the pump. There not as uncommon as you may think either, I'd reckon there's only a few bottom spec machines on the market without them.Better flow sharing, smoother operations, not having to rev the nuts off it to move fast enough on all functions so can perform repetitive work like grab sorting on lower revs. Fuel savings. It’s not just the pumps. The cheapest hire special models will be lacking in other ways too such as break out force and tracking force. Not worth it for an owner op imho.

Cheers Martyn ... good to hear some local input on the subject ... not derogating the man himself, just that it really doesn't look great when your ad. is so poor .. he'd be better off to use spell checker, if not get some one to just cast an eye over it. Professionalism counts when trying to sell high value goods and could well be costing him sales TBHhes meant to be a sound bloke to deal with ,maybe not the best academic but does sell a lot of stuff and full parts backup ,im getting a bit interested in that sunward deal for something to drag around to the odd job and have at home for odd jobs ,dont usually bring the big machine home if i can help it
I would say judging by were he is from that English isn't his first languageCheers Martyn ... good to hear some local input on the subject ... not derogating the man himself, just that it really doesn't look great when your ad. is so poor .. he'd be better off to use spell checker, if not get some one to just cast an eye over it. on the face of it they don't look too bad a machine ... but then we can't trust pix, eh !! he does seem more than happy for test drives though
as for the Sunward ... every one starts off somewhere .. Doosan, Hyundai, etc. .... none had any name at all to start did they ? experiences establish reputations .. good and bad
even more reason to use spell checker or get it eyeballed ...... 's like the ying tongs .... for God's sakes get someone who speaks the language to translate/write their blurb .... mate of mine is married to a Swedish girl and she used to make serious money translating tech manuals, in both directions ... having a technically minded husband made a huge difference to her abilitiesI would say judging by were he is from that English isn't his first language
Sunward stuff does look ok on paper residual is yet to be tested but if the dogger stands the test of time you could like revert to 50 percent 3-4 years imo
That's fine until the dealer goes pop..... only time will dictate that.Apparently they offer guaranteed buy back for 3 years on new Sunward - not sure at what rate but maybe an attempt to keep resale prices up? 2.5t is 21k, ZTS version 23k plus vat
