Took the skip of the ‘dumper’ yesterday to see what I had to play with

also had a look for a set of discs to use and found a set stuck in a hedge bottom just need to get them out but the more I think about it will probably just tow them for a start to see what happens may have to put a bit of ballast over the back wheels (got plenty of steel blocks👍) as don’t want the skip on so I can see what’s going on behind🤔

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
You don’t have a bad collection of scrap at yours Graham judging by your latest photos of moving stuff around!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cuminfas mostly ..... you know what it's like ... have a cull and you want summat the following day/week  ... have it pared down pretty well TBH .. pile of wheels need the tyres stripping off ... 16" alloys for the P38 - original fits - would shrink one pallet dramatically ...... but then have to 'lose' the bloody rubber bits  two pallets of 9" hollows'll get used up ....
I keep the IBCs full, to run me big pressure washer, as the spring can't cope with the demand and need two so's one's filling while you suck the guts out the other ..... 4.5ltr a minute from the spring ..... washer requires 15l/min ... wouldn't take long to empty our tank ... so the IBCs sit ... gives about 3hrs run time and 3500psi of cleaning power. :giggle: ..... the rest ..... well see above
nothing as exotic as Mog though .... no airport tugs lurking about

Had a few hours to kill this afternoon so had a look at my options🤔 decided on a implement lifting device that attaches where the skip pivots utilising the tip ram to lift the tool🤞

will be using FLT tynes as the lift arms (I have quite a few sets of them at my disposal 😉)

Be careful how design it
Disks really need to have a range of movement once they are in the ground especially if the ground is rough
The sway links on the three point linkage should be slack when in use
This means the disks can move side to side and twist in relation to the tractor on top of the up and down parallel float with the arms
If they can't do this they will make the ride terrible you will risk cracking disks and the it wont leave a great finish it will likely never leave a level finish of its own accord
The easiest thing would be to put a towbar to the dumper to pull it then be able to lift the entire implement up using chains a bit like a skip lorry set up this would allow a good range of movement

The discs I got have a flexible bar arrangement so should be good to go
