not at all guys I hadnt really planned on doing this just yet as i mentioned In the back end of the forum there was somthing i had never seen so I wanted to see what options it gave me. The idea is not to make money here. I am greatful for all the business and recomendations of this very forum and previous. To me doing the forum was in way a return of that. However it would be great to be able to produce a few things for members and the like as well as maybe covering overheads. I am extremly greatful for anybody who has joined up it does help. D

I noticed the Upgrade Account thingy when I was looking for summat else the other night and had PM-ed Ross to ask what it was all about...
I hope he won't mind if I quote a few phrases from our PM,s .....
he'd replied saying he'd been poking about in the 'engine bay' and hadn't realised he'd turned it on
, ( " The other day I played with something as I was in the admin panel but I wasn’t sure what I did
" ) but he didn't consider there was sufficient membership yet to contemplate trying to raise some funds, by way of help, towards the running costs of the place and a few 'perks' for members.
I saw it as a great chance for those that wanted to, to give a little back, at the very least .... think everyone had been very positive about contributing towards the 'new place'
... so seized it as an opportunity to do just that ..... 'fore he turned it back off As said .... it has cost Ross a substantial figure to get this off the ground and was sure that we'd all like to help him recoup at least some of it
..... and maybe add to the bank a/c to get his mezzie, that he could've bought, for what this has cost him ... (to explain - that's a para-phrase of a comment Ross made to me, with regard to the costs of this place :- " for example the money i have put into this place would pay for my new mezz floor i need to buy haha "
so well done everyone and for anyone who's not yet seen it, or 'upgraded' .... it's not compulsory and now't'll change if you don't ... but it's a great way to say thank you Ross for stepping up to the line and creating a 'new 'net home' for us to all yap on
as some one's already said ..... what can you get for a tenner these days??
