Spent time on a similar old manitou. It was an old machine and that was 20 years ago. Used for general lifting/shifting around a scrap yard but ended up losing all it's gears.
No idea what exactly went wrong as it got moved on. Sanderson drive train may fare better I don't know?

had one like it many many years ago and wasn't a bad tool ... IIRC it had an universal motor in it :unsure: ... they're a big lump though Dylan ... not a tight spot tool :rolleyes: ...... pretty good on poorer ground though ;)

Its got a 4x4 back axle but no prop!
Told its got a perkins in it

if I recall correctly Dylan;) ......
if the back axle has been disconnected, I'd budget on it being bollo-ed :oops::cry: any half shafts in it ? :unsure: .... prob.s a 4.326 if it's Perky ... great lil' engine

I looked under it and it didn't look like it had ever been 4x4

????? as in no transfer out the drop box ?? bloody odd to have the reduction hub driven axle on it then :unsure::confused::confused::confused:

It's not something I'm after. But there talking scrap so with have to have a word with mogman for some haulage

How many toys does one need. Got big tractor. Baby tractor. Dumper, diggers .
One the plus side we've hopefully got a big barn conversion coming up that will take a couple of years

be well handy for carting pallets of materials about then ;) ...... or sell it on .... scrap price will not be a lot for that Dylan :rolleyes: ....... plus..... there's no such thing as too many toys :LOL:

We had an old Sanderson Teleporter, that was mostly Ford running gear if I remember correctly. That looks like a ford main drive axle I think?
